A group of people on the oval field, all dressed in white clothes, some even wearing a white sweater. One person bowling the ball to another person,the later tries to hit the ball with the bat.When the batsman hit the ball, the fielder tried to attack the three wooden stumps,called a wicket, while the batsman run back and forth between the stumps.
The game can last for a day or even five days. There are many lunch and tea break. This is cricket!
Compared to baseball, which is an American sports, cricket is more of British style. This sport can often be found in countries which were once ruled by the British.
Though cricket is known as a gentleman's game, in fact it can be very intense. A cricket ball can be bowled at a speed of over 140km/h.
一群人在橢圓形球場上，全都穿著白色衣褲，有些甚至穿著白毛衣。一人把球投給另一人，後者試圖用手中的球板擊球。當擊球員把球擊出後，守備員試圖攻擊兩名擊球員身後的三根木柱，而這兩名擊球員在木柱間一起來回奔跑。
比賽可以持續一天，甚至五天。還有許多午餐和飲茶的休息時間。這就是板球！
相較於棒球是美國系統的運動，板球則是英國系統的運動，被英國統治過的國家中經常可以看到這項運動。
板球有紳士運動之稱，但其實這項運動可以非常激烈，堅硬的板球可以以每小時超過 140公里的速度投出！
